Landmark College in Ikorodu hosted its 16th Inter-House Sports Competition on Friday, March 8, 2026, at the school's sports arena.
The event, hosted by Mr. Isiaka Oyebamiji, the college Chairman and CEO, drew attendance from parents and invited schools.
The chairman of the event conveyed his satisfaction with the meticulous organization of the event.
He said, "I am delighted to be a part of this meticulously orchestrated event, which is not only enjoyable, particularly for the children who radiate joy, but also holds the potential to inspire their future career choices in sports. Their enthusiastic participation is evident, and I believe it can sow the seeds for a future in sports.

Lilly House Wins Landmark College 2026 Inter-House Sports
Lilly House has emerged as the overall winner of the 2026 Inter-House Sports Competition of Landmark College, Ikorodu after a colourful and competitive sporting event held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the college Sports Centre.
The annual sporting event attracted dignitaries, parents, teachers and students who gathered at the venue to witness a day filled with athletic displays, teamwork and healthy rivalry among the competing houses. The programme featured several activities including a colourful march past, track and field events, novelty races and the much-anticipated football final.
At the end of the competition, Lilly House secured the first position on the overall medals table, demonstrating remarkable strength across several sporting categories. Zinnia House finished in second place, while Viola House came third. Ixora House placed fourth in the overall standings.
Earlier in the day, Zinnia House impressed judges during the march past and emerged as the winner of the parade segment, earning applause from spectators for their coordination and discipline. Lilly House followed in second position, while Viola House came third and Ixora House finished fourth.
One of the highlights of the event was the thrilling football final between Ixora House and Viola House. After a tightly contested match, Ixora House triumphed over Viola House with a 3–1 victory on penalties, sending supporters into celebration.
The competition was a successful event that promoted sportsmanship, unity and physical fitness among students.
The Inter-House Sports Competition remains one of the most anticipated events in the college academic calendar, serving as a platform for students to showcase their athletic abilities and strengthen bonds across the different houses.
