TOPIC: Goal Setting

Goal setting involves setting specific, measurable, achievable and time bound (smart) objectives that guide individual or collective efforts.

HOW TO SET GOALS IN DISCOVERING AND BUILDNG ONE'S POTENTIAL

1. Self Reflection: Identify strenghts, weaknesses, values and passions.

2. Awareness: Recognize your interests and areas you excel.

3. Exploration: Research and try new things

4. Vision: Envision what you want to achieve and who you want to become.

5. Specificity: Set clear, specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound goals.

6. Breakdown: Divide large goals into smaller, manageable objectives

7. Prioritization: Focus on the most important goals first.

8. Action Plan: Develop a step by step plan to achieve your goals.

9. Accountability: Share your goals with a mentor or a friend for support and encouragement.

10. Flexibility:Rregularly assess and adjust your goals as needed.

11. Celebration: Acknowledge and celebrate your progress and achievements.
